How blessed is this cake designer to create a cake for her great nephew's christening day! This cake was inspired by the nautical theme that Dessie had in mind, and by a cake she had seen...cake designer unknown...we put a couple of twists on the original to personalize it. (But credit must be given - it's only right.)
Nikolas was such a great little guy at his christening....you know how traumatic Greek Orthodox Baptisms can be! He didn't make a peep! Everyone was sooo surprised! It looked as if he were really enjoying it! From the undressing, to the annointing to the full emersion and first communion!!! Bravo little one! Na mas zisis!
May Nikolas Panayiotis' Name Be Blessed!

Celebration Cake at Sherry Netherland
This fun celebration cake created for Suzanne was delivered to the Sherry Netherland Doubles Room in celebration of her first year as a mommy.
This three tiered fun design was inspired by the balloons on the invitation.
Balloons are always a wonderful way to express celebration! The bold colors of the balloons are balanced with the softer yellow of the stripes on the bottom tier and the soft sky blue on the top tier.
To create a feeling of flowing into the air...the balloons were angled making it seem as if a soft wind was blowing them upwards into the sky.
Flavor you ask?
A deliciously scrumptious yellow butter cake filled with fresh sugared strawberries and a "light" vanilla Italian Meringue Buttercream.
Wishing Suzanne and baby Sydney Bea all the best. May all that is dreamed of for baby come true.
