The pride one feels when one sees a grandchild graduating from elementary school is tremendous! Being able to share in their happiness as they reach each milestone in their lives is a blessing. As Katie moves towards her next stage in life in middle school, my only wish is that she enjoys every day, making new friends, keeping her old ones, and being the very best she can be.Katie's cake is a reflection of who she is as a person. She is as bright as the sunflowers on her cake reaching for the sun, and as witty and whimiscal as the swirl of leaves beneath each bloom.
Katie's cake was a Blackout Chocolate Cake filled with Cookies and Cream and a Classic Yellow Cake, filled with an Orange/Lemon/Passion Fruit Italian Merengue Buttercream. Congratulations Katie!
